SKY DRIFTER

Fly with a friend

Sky Drifter lives right here in your Muse app. To drift together, open the app's share button at the top of this page and send Sky Drifter to a friend — when they tap FLY, you're both up in the same sky.

No accounts, no scores, nothing to win. Just flying.

How to fly

• 👆 Touch: drag to steer — the PUSH is the gas: push further from where your finger landed to fly faster, and keep holding the push and the flight keeps accelerating that way — the turn, climb or dive builds the longer you hold. Ease back or lift to settle into a gentle cruise.
• ✌️ Second finger: hold a second finger down anywhere for full gas while you steer with the first. Hold maximum speed up in the sky — gas pinned, or a full-speed dive — and the flight melts into warp: rainbow tunnel, electric arcs, pure streaming light. (Underwater, full speed stays water and light.)
• 🖱 Mouse: the screen is a compass around its center — point where you want to go, no click needed. Above center climbs, below dives, the sides turn, the corners blend both — and the further from center you point, the stronger it answers. Dead center flies straight and level. Hold the left button for gas — and keep holding it pointed somewhere and the flight keeps accelerating that way: hold high underwater and you'll pitch up toward the light, burst out of the surface, and keep climbing through the air into space, one unbroken push. Release and you settle back to a calm cruise.
• ⌨️ Keys: arrows fly — ↑ climbs · ↓ descends · ← → bank (WASD works too) · hold Space for gas · hold L + steer to look · M opens the paint box.
• 🕹️ Joystick: want a stick with structure? In the paint box (☰ CONTROLS), under STEERING, pick 🕹️ Joystick — a stick appears at the lower-left. Push it up to climb, down to dive, left and right to bank; let go and it springs home while the flight settles level. Pick 👆 Drag steer to put it away.
• ☰ CONTROLS under EXIT is your paint box: a sidebar where everything is on show at once — 🌍 LAND or 🫧 UNDERWATER up top, then every destination — pick one and it STAYS yours as long as you want, or leave the worlds on 🔀 Auto and they rotate every 50 seconds while you steer — plus the time of day, the moon's shape and color, the weather, your trails and your speed. Leave any of them on 🔀 Auto, or pick one and it stays yours. YOUR MUSIC at the very bottom takes your own YouTube links — paste one, tap it, and fly to your own soundtrack.
• ✈️ Skywriting (also in the paint box): about once a minute a little plane drifts by and writes something kind in smoke — affirmations, your own words, or just hearts and smileys. Soft and brief, like a good thought passing. Off whenever you want the sky to yourself.
• A world you pick is yours — climb, dive, ride the surface underwater, it won't change on you until you pick another. Keep climbing — into the black, where the stars and the moon are waiting. 🚀
• Low is its own place: descend with speed and you settle into a skim — flying fast just above the water, rooftops, dunes and Broadwalk. Touchdown is slow only: sink low with the gas off, let your speed settle (or hold ↓) — LAND is waiting in the paint box (☰ CONTROLS). ↑ takes off again.
• Drag with a second finger (or hold L) to look around — even back over your shoulder at your own trails. There's no score and no way to lose. Just fly.
• ✈ Hands off: Do nothing and the FLY WITH ME tour flies for you — that's AUTO PILOT. Touch the sky or press any key to take over (MANUAL) — and the world you're in stays put. Tap the pill up top to switch between MANUAL and AUTO PILOT whenever you like.
